Alexandra Heard, LCSW, joined Inova Kellar Center's Outpatient Services in 2015. She received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Union College in Schenectady, NY and her master's degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Alexandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and their families. Her interests include experiential and expressive techniques in practice, finding one's strengths and interest, and incorporating those into their treatment. Previously, Alexandra worked as a Therapist and Lead Therapist at UMFS Leland House in Centreville, VA, working with adolescents in crisis at the residential level of care.
